Sherrie Lee Lewis, age 65, of Yale, OK was born on January 31, 1955 to Harold Wayne (Red) and Pauline Ada (Gann) Hunt in Pawhuska, OK and passed from this life on February 28, 2020 at the home of her daughter, Amy.\r\n\r\nShe grew up in the Fairfax, OK area later working as a dietician at the Pawnee Hospital. Sherrie enjoyed crocheting, watching her shows and spending time with her family. She especially loved going to sporting and school events with her kids and grandkids nearly every day. She worked on the ranch with her husband, Larry, until dusk. On weeknights she would cook dinner and several other family members would show up to enjoy her good cooking. She loved ice cream and would often take everyone on a quick run to Braums just for a treat. Christmas at Sherrie's was always a big event. The presents would be as tall as the tree and as wide as the room would allow, always making sure to put a smile on everyone's face. Sherrie had a giving heart like that. She took care of and took in many kids that needed a place to live. Her generosity was one in a million.\r\n\r\nSherrie is survived by her children; Amy Hargrove of Jennings, OK, Ashley Lewis of Ripley, OK, Lisa Acreman and husband Doyle of Tulsa, OK, Linda Smith and husband Dennis of Yale, OK, Randy Lewis and wife Tamara of Yale, OK and Jeremy Lewis of Yale, OK.\r\n\r\nBrothers; Ray Hunt of Ralston, OK and Jerry Hunt of Cushing, OK\r\n\r\nSisters; Paula Dooley and husband Larry of Ralston, OK, Mary Jo Robinson of Fairfax, OK and Sharron McKinney of Pawhuska, OK.\r\n\r\nBrother-in-law; Richard Lewis and wife Carol of Yale, OK.\r\n\r\nSister-in-law; Mary Sue and husband Don of Cushing, OK.\r\n\r\n21 grandchildren and 19 great-children\r\n\r\nSherrie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Larry Lewis and in-laws, Claude and Francis Lewis.
