Tommy Dale Blakemore Obituary (1951

Tommy Dale Blakemore, Jr. of Tulsa, OK passed away at the age of 64 in his home. Tommy was born on May 9, 1951 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Tom and DeLoris Blakemore. He graduated from Tulsa Central High in 1969 and attended the University of Tulsa. He then went to work for Santa Fe Railroad as an engineer. Tommy married Debra Lynn Warren of Brownwood, Texas on November 30, 1974 and lived in Temple Texas. Tommy returned to Tulsa in 1987 where he lived at his family's home place until his death. Tommy was an avid reader, especially old westerns. Tommy is survived by his son Jason Blakemore and wife Lisa of Waco, Texas; daughter Lauren Davis and husband Blayne of College Station, Texas; sister Linda Norman and husband Dutch of Moody, Texas; Brother Gary Blakemore of Tulsa. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Tyler Blakemore, Kayne and Gracen Davis, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Tom Blakemore, Sr. of Cushing and his mother, DeLoris Maddox of Belton, TX. A Memorial Service will be held at Dillon Funeral Service, Legacy Chapel in Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 2:00pm. A private committal and burial service will occur at a later date.
