“If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you.” Winnie the Pooh
Traci Ann Scott, 54, of Sand Springs, passed away on Thursday, April 18th, 2024 . As Traci’s favorite verse Philippians 4:13 says “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” Traci exemplified this strength through her long and courageous battle with her health.
Traci Ann Aiken was born to parents Robert Reynolds Aiken and Madge Ellen Aiken on September 9th, 1969 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Traci graduated from East Central High School in 1987 where she participated in the Glee Club and played soccer. She later graduated from Tulsa Community College.
Traci married her late husband, Jason “Jake” Scott, on March 30th, 1995 in Eureka Springs, AR. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Madison in 1997, followed by their second daughter, Aly in 1998, and their son, Dawson in 2004.
Traci was a stay at home mother to their 3 children. She was an active member of her church, Hillspring (Cornerstone), for 15 years. Following the passing of Jake, she found comfort surrounded by the members of the Thrive Single Parents Ministry at her church and spent several years in the ministry. Traci loved cooking, singing, decorating and crafts, but most of all she loved frogs and her dogs.
Traci was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Madge Aiken, her husband, Jake Scott, daughter, Chloe Scott, born sleeping in 2002, godparents, Betty and LD Moyer, sister, Dena Aiken, and her favorite dog, Scarlet.
