Vernon Lee Muse left this earthly life for his eternal home in Heaven on January 9, 2021 in Tulsa, OK. He was born on July 4, 1936 in Bengal, OK to Raymond Elwood and Bertha Lee Muse. \r\n\r\nVernon was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Bobby Jean Muse, on December 29, 2020. He was also preceded in death by his parents, brother, Harold Muse, brother-in-law, Clyde Crawley and his sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Gene Nelson.\r\n\r\nVernon is survived by his children, Mike and Cindy Muse of Owasso, OK and Darryl and Karen Muse of Sand Springs, OK. Grandchildren: Jenna and Darryle Parker of Owasso, OK, Megan and Thomas Canady of Collinsville, OK and Tyler Muse of The Colony, TX. Great-grandchildren: Maddux and Liam Parker and Trevor Canady. Sister: Loraine Crawley of Booneville, AR and Sister-in-love, Jenita Sutmiller of Wilburton,OK and a host of nieces and nephews.\r\n\r\nVernon loved woodworking and gardening. Many of his friends always commented that his yard and flowers were the prettiest on the street. He also was a longtime member of Olivet Baptist Church in Tulsa, OK where he served as their Building Engineer for 30 years. \r\n\r\nFuneral services for Vernon will be held at 10AM Tuesday, 1/12/2021, at Olivet Baptist Church, Tulsa, OK.
