Wanda Pauline Rash, 84 of Sand Springs, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, February 12, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma with family by her side. She was born January 2, 1934 in Indianola, Oklahoma to the late Lon and Pearl Steidley. Wanda grew up as a farm girl with five sisters, Juanita, Oneta, Wilma, Mary and Joyce and three brothers, Gene, Roy and Doug. She married Billy Gene Rash in 1955. She worked at the Cotton Mill in Sand Springs and at Liberty Glass Plant in Sapulpa. After getting married she worked as a waitress at several different cafes in Sand Springs. When her kids were all school age she became a housewife and was always a giving person. After her husband died, she worked at the Osage Casino and was a caregiver. She loved going to the casino and yard sales. She loved her family and loved to organize family reunions to help keep the family close. She enjoyed fishing, getting her hair done and spending precious time with her kids and grandkids.\r\nShe is survived by two sons, Paul Rash and wife Regina of Sand Springs, and Don Rash of Sand Springs; two grandsons, Shon and Eric Rash; two great-grandsons, Cole and Braxton Rash; one sister, Wilma Chappell of Arkansas; one brother, Doug Steidley of McAlester, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lon and Pearl Steidley; her husband Billy Gene Rash; four sisters, Juanita Parker, Oneta Steidley, Mary Hannon, and Joyce Harvey; two brothers, Gene Steidley and Roy Steidley.\r\nA Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2018 in the Dillon Marler Dighton Funeral Home's Legacy Chapel, 1200 N. Cleveland Ave., Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
