It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of William Alfred Joslin, fondly known as Bill by those closest to him. Born on November 11, 1935, in Hartford, CT, William's journey of life, filled with love, laughter, and unmistakable resilience, ended on June 18, 2025.
William spent his life in the service of others, first as a member of the United States Air Force for 14 years and later as a mechanic with American Airlines for 28 years. His dedication and commitment were unwavering, and his hard work was rewarded with respect and admiration from his peers. William's spirit extended beyond his professional life, as seen in his active participation in the American Legion and several churches throughout his lifetime. In his leisure time, William found joy in golfing, gardening, and tinkering with home repairs. His impactful kindness was felt by all, especially veterans, whom he loved helping.
William was a beacon of strength and love to his family. He leaves behind his sons, Michael Joslin and wife, Brenda of Sapulpa, and John Joslin and wife, Julie of Broken Arrow, his daughter, Kellie Schuttler and husband, David of Tulsa, stepdaughters, Kim Newport and husband, Brad of Sand Springs, and Kelly Gay of Oklahoma City, stepsons, Gary Gorsuch, and Donny Leland of Sand Springs. William is also survived by 19 grandkids and 21 great grandkids.
