William Howard Lacy was born on April 14, 1932 to Howard and Cleo (Martin) Lacy in Piqua, Ohio. He departed this life on August 12, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years, 3 months, and 29 days. William was head chef and manager for Texas A & M, owned multiple restaurants, was a chef for the Miss Universe Pageant, and loved to make meals and care packages for friends, neighbors, and anyone in need. William served in the Army and was deployed to Korea then enlisted in the Air Force. He served 5 years in each branch. He attended New Hope Baptist Church and many tent revivals. His favorite thing to do was tell others about Jesus and hand out Bible keychains William enjoyed spending time outside feeding the squirrels, Otis the donkey, and Shadow the cow. He enjoyed traveling in his motorhome, taking his grandchildren to the lake, and going on walks with Rex. He was a special man who was loved by many and will be deeply missed. \r\n\r\nHe is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Kitchingham and husband Will of Adair, OK, Kathy Flora and husband Allen of West Milton, OH, and Amy Boesenberg and husband Robert of Dayton, OH; two sons Patrick Lacy of Sand Springs, OK and Timothy Lacy and wife Lilibeth of San Diego, CA; fourteen grandchildren Emily Kitchingham of Adair, OK, Elizabeth Scalley and husband Jason of Minnesota, Matthew Flora and wife Tina of Lewisburg, OH, Mark Flora and wife Lori of Ohio, Mollie Flora of Ohio, Justin Boesenberg of Cincinnati, OH, Claire Johnson of Ohio, Nickie Palmer of Ohio, Kristin Thomas and husband Noah of Sand Springs, OK, Kayla Deason of Sand Springs, OK, Ashley Lacy of Sand Springs, OK, Karson Lacy of Mannford, OK, Zachary MacDonald and wife Hannah of Claremore, OK, Jeremy Lacy of Oklahoma City, Andrew Thompson of Roanoke, TX, and Hannah Thompson of Adair, OK; twenty-two great grandchildren Stetson Wirths, Edward Scalley, Wyatt Scalley, Aubree Scalley, Dicey Thomas, Enoch Thomas, Kaya Thomas, Payton Miller, Coralie South, Lane South, Harper South, Decklin Taylor, Nick Lacy, and Kaitlynn Lacy, Cameron Flora, Brooklynn Flora, Grant Flora, Chloe Flora, Adam Bosenberg, Isaac Bosenberg, Maggie Flora, and Micah Flora.\r\n\r\nHe is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Cleo, one brother Robert Lacy, three sisters Dorothy Peirson, Miriam Hole, and Elnora Calland, two sons Brian Lacy and Mike Lacy, one grandson Zachary Kitchingham, and three great grandchildren. \r\nIn lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to John 3:16 Mission or The Gideon's Bible Ministry.
